Spain Vs Russia

Spain will win. Russia cannot keep upsetting teams. Midfield of Spain is much more powerful 82% completion rate - most passes in the whole tournament.

Russian Def. is strong, but not strong enuff to hold a hot David Villa or the steadfast Torres.

Look for Ramos to dominate the right wing.

Spain takes it I think.

Well.. from the 1st minute to the last, Russia was dominated in every aspect. Spain soared with flying colours and truly looks like the overdog against Germany going into Sunday's Final in the Euro.

Xavi had an amazing game, as did Fabregas and Iniesta. Torres was average but the Spanish Midfield was way too overwhelming for the Russians.

Pavlyuchenko was ineffective. Senna, along with Puyol and Marchena easily shut him down when necessary (although the Russian striker did not have any service provided).

As mentioned in the earlier post, Ramos had no tourble running up the right wing, giving Silva plenty of options up front.

But with Villa injured and Torres only scoring 1 or twice in the qualifying round (Guiza has lookoed good off the bench), will Spain be able to defeat the German defence?

I think it could be more of the question which German team will we see?

Will it be the one that played well against the Portuguese or the side that looked rather a bit sloppy and lazy at times against the Turks?

Unlike Spain, Germany have been inconsistent throughout the tournament and if the Germans come out at all like they did against Turkey, Spain will most likely be able to beat their defence.
